My goals for July consisted of;
Stick to diet during vacation – Well… This did not go as planned, haha. While I didn’t exactly pig out as much as I did during our wedding visit, lol! I didn’t stick to my diet. I am a bit disappointed with myself for it, but at the same time I did want to enjoy myself! So now that vacation is over, it’s back to the diet I go.
Stay within budget! – This, I am very happy to say, was achieved! Mostly because we were at the cottage for the whole week John was here, but even when we got back home, we still didn’t spend too much money on unnecessary things.
Cook a nice dinner together with John – Two nights before John left to go back to Memphis, we made a nice dinner together. 🙂 I set up the table with some candles (Shh, they were fake!) and got us our favorite wine. We made filet mignon with stroganoff.
My goals for the month of August;
Try to get more sleep…
I’ve gotten into a very bad habit of staying up until 12am every night during the week, despite having to wake up for work at 6:30am. Needless to say, I never get enough sleep, maybe 3-5 hours each night. I’ve recently learned that this is a huge contributor to weight gain and deteriorating health, so I am now trying to get myself into a good sleep habit. However, I believe I am also possibly suffering from insomnia… I have great difficulty falling asleep sometimes, but even more so with staying asleep. Sometimes I wake up nearly every hour of the night. So I am hoping I can get down to the bottom of this…
Survive without my phone
So my phones battery life completely and totally sucks. Literally play Pokemon GO for an hour and it’s basically dead. I’m sending it off to have it fixed which could take up to 3 weeks to get it back. I have no idea what kind of replacement phone I will get while my phone is away, but so help me if it’s a flip phone I will cry.
Mail a gift to the hubby!
I know, this seems like an odd goal… However, I haven’t sent him a gift in the mail in a super long time and it’s something I would really like to do. It always makes him so happy! Let’s see what I can come up with. 🙂
